Blue Mountains Preschool Leaders Inclusion Café Networking event

Description

This Inclusion Café events is an invitation to Directors or Educational Leaders from preschools to come together for lunch, sharing, critical reflection and collaboration along with your Amie, your Preschool Inclusion Consultant.  Buy your own lunch, and KU Sector Capacity Building Program will cover a coffee or teaThese events provide an opportunity to network, share and learn from one another through a dynamic, focussed discussion on inclusive practices, resources and initiatives in preschools.

Let’s connect and celebrate inclusion, share some highlights, possibly discuss a few practice challenges, and create space for sharing.

We would love you to bring along one (or more) of the following to share if possible:

  • A “glimmer” (a tiny micro-moment of joy) or perhaps you have a bigger moment – one where you are in a flow state and “glow” from your work (or your teams) in creating inclusive early childhood education environments.
  • A favourite (inclusion related) resource that you’d like to share with other passionate colleagues.  This might be a children’s book, pedagogy-based book, technology tool, professional learning, toy or other children’s resource.

Ben’s Café in Lawson is a centrally located social enterprise café offering good quality food and drinks while supporting young people with a disability.
