Inquiry-based learning is an approach often adopted in our early childhood programs. But have we thought about what authentic inquiry-based learning means and looks like in practice? This session will explore the following questions:
- What is inquiry-based learning?
- How can we ignite children’s enthusiasm for inquiry?
- What is the role of the educator?
Completing Inquiry-based learning will contribute 3 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Accredited PD in the priority area of Delivery and assessment of NSW Curriculum/Early Years Learning Framework addressing Standard Descriptor 3.3.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher in NSW.
