Responding to children's sexual behaviour - KU Staff Only

Description

The spectrum of children’s sexual behaviours varies from normal curiosity to behaviours which are seriously concerning.  Educators need to be able to confidently identify and then sensitively respond to children’s sexual behaviours. There could be occasions when a child’s behaviour indicates that they may be at risk of harm and the educator will need to take a protective response.  This workshop is an overview of children’s problematic sexual behaviours which focuses on giving educators the skills to be able classify sexual behaviours from normal to harmful and to respond appropriately at the time the behaviour is observed.
