This professional learning day is an opportunity for chefs at KU to come together, network, share ideas, ask questions and refresh some practical health and safety skills. Please come along for an opportunity to meet and learn from your fellow KU chefs. Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
The day will consist of 3 sessions as follows:
Session 1 – Safe food handling overview (presenter: ECTARC Early Childhood Training)
Session 2 – Employee Safety - Manual Handling (presenter: KU Employee Wellness and Safety Team)
Session 3 – Facilitated Discussion – menu planning, time management, ingredients (presenter: Charlotte Paterson from Nourishing Tummies)
