NESA Accredited: What should we be documenting? 2-part online series

Description

May Series Dates: 1st & 8th May   Time: 4.30pm - 6.00pm

August Series - Dates: 13th & 20th August   Time: 4.30pm - 6.00pm

An educator’s knowledge, insights and questions about children’s thinking and learning is shared through meaningful, well written documentation. It should draw the reader in and invite the reader to take away new ideas about children’s capabilities and learning potentials. It should also elicit respect for the professional skills of the educator.

Pedagogical documentation should inform planning that is responsive and complex beyond a reductive focus on behaviour or predetermined outcomes.

What then, should we be documenting?

National Quality Standard – QA 1 Educational program and practice

Completing What should we be documenting? will contribute 3 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Accredited PD in the priority area of Delivery and Assessment of NSW Curriculum/EYLF addressing Standard Descriptor 5.1.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
