Practical Teaching Strategies for Inclusive Educators
We invite educators who are working directly with children to join us. This workshop is designed for if you are recently qualified, new to your role, or feel you would like to enhance your current experience. We aim to learn from one another through dynamic discussions on inclusive practices, from your day to day work in preschools.
- Teaching strategies you can use with all children, considering what strategies work in practice.
- Unpacking terminology such as: scaffolding, modelling, chaining, questioning, prompting, time delay, serve and return, play partnering, graduated guidance, peer mediation, fading, task analysis – how can these strategies be used inclusively?
- Considering what teaching resources you may or may not need.
Educators are encouraged to bring along your questions and practice challenges.
