Impacts of Externalising Behaviours on the Preschool Community; Supports and Strategies

Recommend course:

Description

This webinar will focus on children who are impacted by experiencing their peers’ externalising behaviours. How can educators support all children and create opportunities for them to develop skills in emotional literacy, empathy and resilience? What role can educators play in advocating for inclusion and the wellbeing of the preschool community?

In this webinar we will discuss:

  • How episodic memories can create both positive and negative outcomes from unexpected or challenging situations
  • The role of the educator in supporting co-regulation for all children in the learning environment.
  • Reframing ‘difficult situations’ to find the opportunities for growth and learning

Please note, attendees are encouraged to also participate in our webinar: ‘Immediate Responses to Externalising Behaviours’ this term.
