Supporting Executive Functioning Skills in Young Children

 These experiences are often linked to the development of executive functioning skills. 

This workshop will explore:  

  • What executive functioning looks like in the early years  
  • Why executive functioning skills are important for preschool and beyond 
  • Practical and playful strategies to support executive functioning skills in preschool settings

  • Quality Area 5.1: Relationships between educators and children
  • Quality Area 6.2: Collaborate partnerships

N.B. This professional development activity can be used towards teacher identified hours. Teachers need to record this activity in their NESA logbook.
