Inclusion Community of Practice - Networking event for Preschool Leaders - Hornsby & Upper North Shore

Recommend course:

Description

We extend this invitation to Preschool Directors and Educational or Inclusion Leaders in preschools to come together to network, share and learn from one another through a dynamic discussion on inclusive practices, resources and initiatives in preschools.

Join your KU Preschool Inclusion consultants for a light afternoon tea at our host preschool for this term - KU South Turramurra Preschool, as we connect and celebrate inclusion, share some highlights and discuss inclusive practice dilemmas.

This term, we would love to connect by:

  • Discussing how we can set ‘whole team’ intentions in relation to inclusive planning and how we can identify and address barriers to inclusive practice within educator teams.
  • Sharing resources, questions, and success stories.
  • Exploring participants ideas for topics for future meetings. Please bring your thoughts to share.

This workshop aligns with the National Quality Standard:

Quality Area 1, 1.3.1. Assessment and Planning Cycle.

Quality Area 3, 3.2.1: Inclusive environment.

Quality Area 6: Collaborative partnerships with families and communities.

Quality Area 7: Governance and Leadership
