Description

Preschools are experiencing larger numbers of children with delays in development, impacting on their ability to participate in the preschool program. This networking event, will be a hands-on opportunity to connect, engage and critically reflect on practices with colleagues.

Through our own experiential engagement in some different activities, you will be invited to critically reflect and share on:

  • Your own practice in supporting children’s engagement.
  • The balance between children’s choice and agency and intentional teaching.
  • Ideas for scaffolding children’s participation.
  • Partnering with families to support us and their children in this area.
