This interactive professional learning session empowers early childhood inclusion leaders and directors to guide their teams in understanding and supporting children’s behaviour through a reflective, relational lens.
Participants will explore:
- Practical tools to lead proactive, whole-service approaches to behaviour
- How to reframe behaviour as communication and identify lagging skills
- The escalation cycle as a shared team framework
- Green zone strategies to embed calm, consistent, and connected practice
- Leadership strategies to foster collaborative planning with educators and families
By promoting a shift from "what's wrong with this child?" to "what's going on for this child?", this workshop strengthens leadership capacity to build inclusive environments where every child feels safe, supported, and capable.
