Description

This workshop is offered to all educators. Join us to network over afternoon tea, share knowledge and explore fresh ideas around inclusive group times.

Through the lens of inclusive group times, we will:

  • Unpack the “why” behind group times
  • Share and reflect on current practices in relation to small & large group times
  • Reimagine group times through a neuro-affirming and inclusive approach
  • Consider questions around ‘school readiness’ and its connection to group time
  • Reflecting on the role of screens in group times
  • Explore how transitions and rituals frame these moments

This workshop aligns with the National Quality Standard:

  • Quality Area 1: 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.2.1 and 1.3.1
  • Quality Area 3: 3.2.1 and 3.2.2
  • Quality Area 4: 4.2.1 and 4.2.2
