A foundational look at the concept and the importance of understanding neurodiversity in early childhood education, promoting a strengths-based and inclusive perspective.
Strategies for Supporting Children with Diverse Needs
Share practical, hands-on strategies to support children with disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioural challenges, including adjustments to the physical environment, communication tools, and differentiated routines.
Understanding Neurodiversity Profiles: PDA and ODD
- Exploring how Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) may present in young children, and how neuro-affirming strategies can support regulation and build trust.
- Practical resources will be provided, and there will be time to reflect on how these ideas relate to your own practice and setting. It’s also a great opportunity to build connections and strengthen professional networks across services in our region.
