Inclusion Community of Practice - Networking event for Preschool leaders - Ryde/Hunters Hill and Lower North Shore

Recommend course:

Description

This Inclusion Community of Practice is an evolution of the popular Inclusion Cafes. We plan on holding this event at a different preschool each term.

We extend this invitation to Preschool Directors and Educational or Inclusion Leaders to come together to network, share and learn from one another through a dynamic, focussed discussion on inclusive practices, resources and initiatives in preschools. Join your KU Preschool Inclusion Consultants for afternoon tea as we connect and celebrate inclusion, share some highlights, possibly discuss a few practice dilemmas.

This term, we would like to connect by:

  • Discussing how we, as a group, would like these sessions to evolve.
  • Hearing the host preschool’s reflection on recent inclusion initiatives.
  • Sharing resources, questions, and success stories.
    • Reflecting on any term 2 challenges and practical ways to support inclusion.

This workshop aligns with the National Quality Standard:

Quality Area 1, 1.3.1. Assessment and Planning Cycle.

Quality Area 3, 3.2.1: Inclusive environment.

Quality Area 6: Collaborative partnerships with families and communities.

Quality Area 7: Governance and Leadership
