Inclusion Café/Community of Practice - Networking event for Preschool leaders - Hornsby

Recommend course:

Description

This Inclusion Café event is an invitation for Directors and Educational or Inclusion Leaders in preschools to come together to network, share and learn from one another through a dynamic, focussed discussion on inclusive practices, resources and initiatives in preschools. Join your KU Preschool Inclusion consultants for a coffee, tea or hot chocolate as we connect and celebrate inclusion, share some highlights, possibly discuss a few practice dilemmas.

As we embark on another year, we would love to connect by:

  • Engaging in professional dialogue in relation to the topic of interoception (the connection between bodily sensation and feelings/emotions) and regulation

  • Sharing resources, questions, and success stories.
  • Discussing practical ways to support inclusion and any term 1 challenges.

This workshop aligns with the National Quality Standard: Quality Area 1, 1.3.1.Assessment and Planning Cycle. Quality Area 3, 3.2.1: Inclusive environment. Quality Area 6: Collaborative partnerships with families and communities. Quality Area 7: Governance and Leadership

N.B. This professional development activity can be used towards teacher identified hours. Teachers need to record this activity in their NESA logbook.
