Description

Our Inclusion Café events are an invitation to educators in preschools to come together for afternoon tea hosted by Preschool Inclusion Consultants. These events provide an opportunity to network, share and learn from one another through a dynamic, focused discussion on inclusive practices, resources and initiatives in preschools.

Let’s connect and celebrate inclusion, share some highlights, possibly discuss a few practice challenges, and establish an important space for sharing.

We would love you to bring along one (or more) of the following to share if possible:

  • An inclusion success story from your preschool and ways you are planning for inclusion in 2025
  • A favourite resource (e.g. a book, visual support, something else) you are using to support inclusion

This workshop aligns with the National Quality Standard:

QA 1, 1.2: Educational Program and Practice

QA 3, 3.2.1: Inclusive Environment

QA 5: Relationships with children

Quality Area 6, 6.2: Collaborative partnerships enhance children’s inclusion, learning and wellbeing
