Free Webinar Building an Emotional Regulation Toolkit

Recommend course:

Description

This webinar takes a deeper dive into the critical skills that assist a young child to self -regulate, and the crucial role educators play in the development of those skills and can help shape the child’s understanding of regulation. We examine opportunities across the day to teach and support the 3 main components of emotional regulation -emotional literacy, interoception (the association between bodily sensation and feelings/emotions) and safe emotional expression and regulation.  Educators will be encouraged to reflect on their understanding of co-regulation, their own practice and how their role as co-regulators can look different, depending on the needs of the child.
