A workshop exploring how neuro-affirming practice can create an inclusive and supportive environment that recognises and celebrates children’s differences.

We will

  • Reflect on assumptions and practices about what’s ‘normal/ typical’
  • Neuro-affirming practice and strategies
  • Discuss building trust and making connections and enhancing educator/child interactions
  • Consider how the physical environment and routines can meet children’s needs
  • Reflect on what play looks like? What are the roles of the educator in play?
