During this day we explore the world of infants and toddlers - their relationships, development, health and learning. We tackle questions such as, 'how do we best support the very youngest in our group care settings?'
This presentation will clearly unpack the role of the key educator in supporting infants and toddlers in care and education settings. Participants will gain understanding of what key educator connections look like and how to instigate this approach in their own setting.
This session will examine the development, cues, dispositions and temperaments of infants and toddlers, observe environments and discuss educator skills that are responsive and supportive of nurturing relationships.
Share in a journey of wondering, questioning and discovering the "why" within an infant and toddler community. Reimagine a pedagogy that values infants and toddlers as thinkers and theory makers and inspires a collaborative approach to parent engagement.
