During this day we explore the world of infants and toddlers - their relationships, development, health and learning. We tackle questions such as, 'how do we best support the very youngest in our group care settings?'

The Key Educator Approach: Relationships that support the wellbeing of children, educators and families - Presented by Katherine Bussey - 9am - 11am

This presentation will clearly unpack the role of the key educator in supporting infants and toddlers in care and education settings. Participants will gain understanding of what key educator connections look like and how to instigate this approach in their own setting.

Relationships, environments and responsive care - Presented by Lynn Farrell - 11.20am - 1.00pm

This session will examine the development, cues, dispositions and temperaments of infants and toddlers, observe environments and discuss educator skills that are responsive and supportive of nurturing relationships.

Beyond Cute:  Learning Begins in the nursery - Presented by Linda Mathews and Beryl Cappello, Abbotsleigh ELC - 1.45pm - 3.45pm
