Description

NESA Endorsed - A Time for Thinking: Critical Reflection on Practice

There is a strong emphasis on critical reflection in the National Quality Standard and Early Years Learning Framework. This is because the process of critical reflection helps us to think more deeply about our work and to question how our practices impact the learning and development of children. During this workshop we will explore:

  • The way in which critical reflection drives educator decision making and is essential to our practice
  • Strategies for engaging in processes of critical reflection that help us to have the courage and confidence to question our own practices.
  • Ways to integrate critical reflection into daily practice

This workshop is suitable for early childhood professionals with some experience.
