Description

Connecting With Country - Walk, Listen, Feel

Join us on country with Traditional Custodians as we listen to stories of their place. Feel the heartbeat of the land as you walk on country and hear voices of the environment and understand how the environment talks to you. Participants will make their own way to a designated location to begin a day of walking and feeling, as they connect with country and listen to the Elders.

What to bring: As the location will not have facilities for us to provide catering, please bring enough food and drinks for the day. You will need sensible walking shoes and clothing, a hat, sunscreen and a wet weather jacket is advisable for any unpredicted changes in the weather.

Schedule for the day:

  • 8.30am - Arrival
  • 8.30am - Welcome to the day and introductions
